Through our valued partnership with Mazatlán Animal Rescue ("MAR"), we provide crucial support to MAR Sanctuary. This sanctuary serves as a safe haven for hundreds of vulnerable dogs and cats in need of shelter, care, and protection. One of our key programs is dedicated to ensuring the sanctuary remains operational, offering a secure and nurturing environment for the animals that need it most. Together, we work to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these animals, giving them a second chance at a better life.

One of our most urgent programs is the creation of a dedicated Adoption Center in Mazatlán. This center will showcase our most highly adoptable dogs in a welcoming space where potential adopters can meet them. Unlike our current sanctuary, which is not equipped to receive visitors, the Adoption Center will serve as the primary hub for connecting our animals with loving forever homes. This project is vital to increasing adoptions and giving more dogs and cats the chance to find the families they deserve.

We recognize the urgent need to implement an aggressive spay and neuter program that will focus on the most high-risk neighborhoods. This program is essential to reducing the overpopulation of stray dogs and cats, preventing suffering, and curbing the cycle of abandonment. By targeting these vulnerable areas, we aim to make a lasting impact on the community, improving the overall welfare of animals and promoting responsible pet ownership.

We believe that creating a program to raise awareness for animal wellbeing is crucial for shaping a more compassionate future. We aim to introduce educational programs into Mazatlán's school systems to teach children about responsible pet care, the importance of animal welfare, and how to treat animals with kindness and respect. By starting this work with children, we hope to inspire a new generation to become advocates for animal protection, laying the foundation for a more humane community.
